Descriptions: This tablet is one of the combination of cefixime (cephalosporin) and ofloxacin (fluoroquinolone) and has unique dual mode of action i.e in this combination ofloxacin prevents nucleic acid synthesis of bacteria and cefixime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis.It is useful for killing thr ESBL (Extended Spectrum Beta-lactamase) bacteria. Indications:
Typhoid fever, Urinary tract infection, Respiratory Tract infection, Nosocomial infection, Soft tissue infections, Surgical prophylaxi, Intra-abdominal infections, Skin and skin structure infections and bone and joint infections.
Dosage:
1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening with or without food.
When used for the treatment of gonorrhea it may be given in a single dose. Take HICEF – OF at around the same times every day.
Packing:
Each box contains 10 Alu-Alu strips of 10 Tablets each.
